Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a VP of Business Development for Veterinary to own our largest multi-location deals from initial meeting through signed contracts. This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports, focused on strategic veterinary groups where one win covers many locations.

You will work with our sales development team and inbound leads to close the $2M annual quota across select multi-location accounts, targeting owners, regional operators and marketing leaders.

Qualifications

• Proven record of closing $1M+ annually on large, multi-location accounts.
• Experience selling to veterinary groups or multi-location buyers.
• Long, consultative sales cycles with multiple decision makers.

Responsibilities

• The full cycle on large deals: discovery, proposal, negotiation and close, 3–12 months.
• Deals with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders at the table.
• Expansion: add locations and services after a group signs.
• Proposals built with strategists and leadership for key deals.
