Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a VP of Business Development for Veterinary to own our largest multi-location deals from initial meeting to signed contracts. You will close high-value accounts with multi-location veterinary groups, guided by inbound leads and a strategic sales cadence.

You will manage the full cycle with owners and regional leaders, expanding to additional locations and services as groups sign, and collaborating with strategists to craft winning proposals.

Qualifications

• Experience closing $1M+ annual multi-location deals.
• Experience selling to veterinary groups or multi-location buyers.
• Long, consultative sales cycles with multiple decision-makers.
• Prefer closing business over managing people.

Responsibilities

• Own full sales cycle on large deals: discovery, proposal, negotiation and close, over 3 to 12 months.
• Deals with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders all at the table.
• Expansion: more locations and more services once a group signs.
• Proposals built with our strategists and leadership for the deals that matter most.
