Job summary

Blacksmith Agency LLC is seeking a VP of Business Development for Veterinary to own large multi-location deals from first meeting to signed contract. This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports, focused on strategic veterinary groups and multi-clinic practices across the US and Canada.

You will close high-value deals with owners and regional leaders, expanding locations and services as groups sign.

Qualifications

• History of closing $1M+ annual revenue in large multi-location deals.
• Experience selling to veterinary groups or multi-location buyers.
• Long, consultative sales cycles with several decision makers.

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle from discovery to close, 3–12 months.
• Engage with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders.
• Expand to additional locations and services after signing.
• Collaborate with strategists and leadership on proposals for key deals.
