Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Head of Business Development for Veterinary to own large multi-location deals from first meeting to signed contract. This remote role targets veterinary groups with many locations, where one deal covers the whole group.

You will close high-stakes cycles with owners and marketing leaders, supported by a sales development team and inbound leads, focusing on high-value, strategic accounts.

Qualifications

• Record of closing $1M+ annually on large multi-location or enterprise accounts.
• Experience selling to veterinary groups or multi-location buyers.
• Long, consultative sales cycles with several decision-makers.
• Prefer closing business over people management.

Responsibilities

• Own full sales cycle: discovery, proposal, negotiation and close over 3–12 months.
• Sell to owners, regional operators and marketing leaders at multi-location groups.
• Drive expansion to add locations and services after a signed deal.
• Collaborate with strategists and leadership to build proposals for key deals.
