Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Audiologist license.
• Must have access to a calibrated audiometer capable of performing VA-required hearing evaluations.
• Must have access to a diagnostic tympanometer for tympanometry and acoustic reflex testing.
• Master's Degree or higher in relevant field.
• Strong documentation and report-writing skills.
• Ability to follow structured evaluation protocols.
• Comfortable performing objective, fact-based evaluations.
• Comfortable Maryland CNC speech recognition testing.
• Access to equipment such as SHOEBOX Audiometer, Interacoustics Titan, Interacoustics AT235/AT235h, GSI TympStar Pro, Kuduwave, or comparable diagnostic equipment.

Responsabilités

• Conduct C&P audiology evaluations for Veterans.
• Perform structured hearing loss and tinnitus-related evaluations based on VA guidelines.
• Review relevant medical records and examination information.
• Obtain focused history through interviews.
• Perform audiometric testing and document accordingly.
• Prepare clear, concise, timely reports in VA formats.
• Provide objective findings without influencing Veteran claims outcome.
• Submit examination documentation within required timeframes.
• Maintain clear boundaries between evaluation and treatment.
• Follow applicable ethical, legal, and confidentiality requirements.
