Job summary

Empower Mental Health is seeking a licensed Audiologist to conduct C&P evaluations for Veterans as a 1099 contractor. This non-treatment role focuses on evaluation, testing and documentation with VA requirements.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Audiologist license.
• Access to a calibrated audiometer for VA evaluations.
• Access to a diagnostic tympanometer for tympanometry and reflex testing.
• Master's Degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Strong documentation and report-writing skills.
• Ability to follow structured evaluation protocols.
• Comfortable with objective, fact-based evaluations.
• Experience with Maryland CNC speech testing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct C&P audiology evaluations for Veterans.
• Perform structured hearing loss and tinnitus evaluations per VA guidelines.
• Review medical records and examination information.
• Obtain history through focused interviews.
• Perform audiometric testing and complete documentation.
• Prepare VA-formatted reports clearly and timely.
• Provide objective findings without bias in claims.
• Submit examination documentation within deadlines.
• Maintain boundaries between evaluation and treatment.
• Follow ethical, legal, and confidentiality requirements.
