Job summary

Empower Mental Health is seeking a licensed audiologist to perform VA-required C&P evaluations for veterans. This non-treatment role focuses on evaluation, testing, and documentation with flexible scheduling and in-person opportunities.

You will review records, conduct audiometric testing, and produce VA-standard reports while maintaining objectivity and avoiding treatment or billing responsibilities. This contractor role offers meaningful work serving veterans.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Audiologist license.
• Access to calibrated audiometer for VA evaluations.
• Access to diagnostic tympanometer for tympanometry and reflex testing.
• Master's degree or higher in relevant field.
• Strong documentation and report-writing skills.
• Ability to follow structured evaluation protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct C&P audiology evaluations for Veterans according to VA guidelines.
• Review medical records and history; obtain focused history.
• Perform audiometric testing and document findings clearly.
• Prepare VA-formatted examination reports promptly.
• Maintain objectivity and avoid influencing claims outcomes.
• Submit completed documentation within required timeframes.
• Ensure evaluation boundaries with treatment, per ethics.
