Job summary

Empower Mental Health is seeking an experienced Audiologist to conduct C&P evaluations for Veterans in a non-treatment role. You will perform VA-required audiology testing, review medical records, and document findings in VA formats while maintaining objectivity.

This independent contractor position offers flexible scheduling and in-person opportunities, with no ongoing patient care or insurance billing. Licensure and access to professional equipment are required.

Qualifications

• Licensed Audiologist in good standing.
• Access to calibrated audiometer for VA-required evaluations.
• Access to tympanometer capable of tympanometry and Acoustic Reflex testing.
• Strong documentation and report-writing skills.
• Ability to follow structured evaluation protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct C&P audiology evaluations for Veterans per VA guidelines.
• Review records and obtain focused history for evaluations.
• Perform audiometric testing and document findings in VA formats.
• Prepare clear, concise examination reports within deadlines.
• Maintain objectivity and separate evaluation from treatment.
