Job summary

Empower Mental Health is seeking a licensed Audiologist to conduct VA-mandated C&P evaluations on a flexible, non-treatment basis. You will review records, perform structured audiometric testing, and prepare clear, VA-formatted reports for Veterans, with no ongoing patient care or billing.

This role offers flexible scheduling, in-person opportunities, and a reliable way to supplement income while contributing meaningfully to Veteran care.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Audiologist license.
• Access to calibrated audiometer for VA evaluations.
• Diagnostic tympanometer capable of tympanometry and reflex testing.
• Master's degree or higher in relevant field.
• Strong documentation and report-writing skills.
• Ability to follow structured evaluation protocols.
• Comfortable with objective, fact-based evaluations.
• MD CNC speech testing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct C&P audiology evaluations for Veterans.
• Perform structured hearing loss and tinnitus evaluations per VA guidelines.
• Review relevant medical records and examination information.
• Obtain relevant history through focused interviews.
• Perform required audiometric testing and related documentation.
• Prepare clear, concise VA-formatted reports.
• Provide objective, fact-based findings without bias.
• Submit completed examination documentation within required timeframes.
• Maintain boundaries between evaluation and treatment.
• Follow confidentiality and ethical requirements.
