Job summary

Empower Mental Health is seeking a licensed Audiologist to perform VA-required C&P evaluations. This non-treatment role focuses on evaluation, testing, and documentation for Veterans, with flexible scheduling and no patient care obligations.

The position is a 1099 Independent Contractor role offering per-evaluation compensation and opportunities for in-person work. A calibrated audiometer and diagnostic equipment are required to conduct VA-compliant assessments.

Qualifications

• Active Audiologist license (unrestricted).
• Master's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Experience performing VA/C&P-style evaluations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Compensations & Pension (C&P) audiology evaluations for Veterans.
• Perform structured hearing loss and tinnitus evaluations per VA guidelines.
• Review medical records and obtain focused histories.
• Conduct audiometric testing and document results.
• Prepare reports in VA-required formats with clarity and timeliness.
• Maintain boundaries between evaluation and treatment.
