Job summary

Empower Mental Health is seeking a licensed Audiologist to conduct C&P evaluations for Veterans as a flexible, non-treatment role. This 1099 contractor position focuses on evaluation, testing, and documentation, with no ongoing patient care or insurance billing.

You will perform VA-compliant audiology assessments, review records, and report results in VA formats. In-person opportunities are available, and scheduling is flexible to fit your practice.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Audiologist license.
• Master's Degree or higher in audiology or related field.
• Strong documentation and report-writing skills.
• Ability to follow structured evaluation protocols.
• Comfortable with objective, fact-based evaluations.
• Maryland CNC speech recognition testing.
• Access to diagnostic equipment (SHOEBOX, Interacoustics Titan/AT235, GSI TympStar Pro, Kuduwave)

Responsibilities

• Conduct C&P audiology evaluations for Veterans.
• Perform structured hearing loss and tinnitus evaluations per VA guidelines.
• Review relevant medical records and examination information.
• Obtain focused history via interviews.
• Perform audiometric testing and related documentation.
• Prepare reports in VA-required formats.
• Provide objective findings without bias.
• Submit completed examination documentation within required timeframes.
• Maintain clear boundaries between evaluation and treatment.
• Follow ethical, legal, professional, and confidentiality requirements.
