Job summary

EY-Parthenon is seeking a Senior Associate-Consultant to join Strategy and Execution Value Creation. You will work on transactions, operational due diligence, and post-acquisition value creation efforts to maximize returns for PE firms, portfolio companies, and corporates.

Role involves 60% in-person collaboration with clients or EY offices, frequent cross-functional teamwork, and heavy focus on improving EBITDA, margins, and working capital through operational improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or Analytics and 2 years of related work experience.
• Graduate degree with approximately 18 months of related work experience.
• Strategy and operations management consulting experience.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving/modeling skills, and the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights.
• Experience in operational due diligence, operational restructuring, and performance improvement.
• Experience in business integrations, divestitures, and/or carve-outs with a demonstrated aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Deep understanding of financial statements and operational performance metrics.
• Experience leading and managing in complex business environments.
• Ability to prioritize effectively on projects and adapt quickly to new challenges.
• Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, and the ability to develop long-lasting relationships.
• In-person work 60% of the time or 3 days per week at client site or EY office.
• Must reside in or be commutable to the office location.
• Willingness to travel and work beyond standard hours when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Execute operational focused projects across the transaction lifecycle.
• Perform operational due diligence focusing on EBITDA upside and operational risk.
• Support buy-side carve-out and integration planning to ensure stand-alone viability and realized synergies.
• Lead post-acquisition 100-day and value creation planning.
• Drive ongoing performance improvement and exit readiness planning.
