Job summary

Prometheus Federal Services (PFS) is seeking a Medical Support Assistant for on-site work at the Ukiah VA Outpatient Clinic. You will manage appointment scheduling, answer calls, and support the scheduling team in a VA environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 6 months general clerical experience and 6 months experience with scheduling-related computer use.
• Proven ability to speak, understand, read, and write English fluently.
• Typing 45–60 wpm with minimum errors.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments and perform front desk duties per VA directives.
• Answer all calls for scheduling requests; update CPRS charts.
• Coordinate with Lead Scheduler to ensure timely patient communications.
• Support scheduling/reception team to maintain professional VA representation.
