Prometheus Federal Services (PFS) is seeking a Medical Support Assistant for the Clearlake VA Outpatient Clinic to provide on-site front desk and scheduling support. This role emphasizes accurate appointment coordination, courteous patient interactions, and adherence to VA guidelines.

The MSA will handle phone requests, assist the scheduling team, maintain CPRS charts, and contribute to quality improvement efforts across the SF VA Health System while ensuring patient safety and professional

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months clerical experience and 6 months scheduling software experience.
• Fluent English in speaking, reading, and writing.
• Type 45-60 wpm with minimal errors.
• Ability to use computer programs for scheduling and communication.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.
• Ability to obtain security clearance (NACI) and work legally in the U.S.

Responsabilidades

• Schedule appointments and front-desk duties per VA directives.
• Answer phone calls promptly for scheduling requests.
• Coordinate with Lead Scheduler to ensure timely communications.
• Support scheduling team and maintain CPRS charts.
• Participate in quality improvement to meet performance measures.
• Provide quality customer service to patients, staff, and contractors.
