Job summary

Motorola Solutions, through its Silvus Technologies subsidiary, seeks a Business Development Engineer for the US Marine Corps to bridge RF capabilities with defense customer requirements. You will support engineering and BD teams, demonstrate interoperability, and drive field-readiness of StreamCaster radios across diverse environments.

Travel up to 50% for field tests and demos; remote work option available depending on location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 2–5 years experience in systems engineering/defense tech.
• Security clearance: Active SECRET or ability to obtain within 15 months of hire.
• U.S. Citizenship required for government contracts.

Responsibilities

• Analyze USMC priorities and map requirements to radio solutions.
• Plan and execute field trials, modernizations, and user evaluations.
• Develop technical demos for expeditionary and tactical edge networking needs.
• Support RFI/RFP responses with technical input and reviews.
• Research potential industry partnerships and test end-to-end architectures.
• Engage with MARCORSYSCOM, MCWL, PEO Land Systems, and naval centers.
