Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Business Development Engineer for the US Marine Corps to bridge RF capabilities with customer needs. You will support field tests, demonstrations, and assessments of StreamCaster radio solutions in expeditionary and tactical environments.

The role offers significant travel (up to 50%) and a remote-work option depending on location, with a focus on delivering technically sound, interoperable architectures and strategic support to Marine Corps stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, CS, or related C5ISR field with 2–5 years in systems engineering or defense tech.
• Experience with SDRs, IP routing, or tactical communication systems.
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze USMC priorities and map requirements to tactical radio solutions.
• Plan, configure networks, and execute field trials and evaluations.
• Collaborate to leverage testing data and verify solution architectures.
• Maintain alignment with BD to support technical needs and strategic priorities.
• Develop and present technical demos for expeditionary networking.
