Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a Motorola Solutions subsidiary, is seeking a Business Development Engineer to bridge RF capabilities with Marine Corps requirements. You will work with Engineering and BD to demonstrate interoperability and field-readiness of StreamCaster radios across expeditionary, littoral, ground, and airborne environments.

Travel up to 50% for field tests and demonstrations; remote work option may be available depending on location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related C5ISR field with 2-5 years of demonstrated experience in systems engineering, technical business development, or defense technology roles.
• Exposure to or working knowledge of Software-Defined Radios (SDRs), IP-based routing protocols, or tactical communication systems.
• Security Clearance: Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or the ability to obtain one within 15 months of hire.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• All employment is contingent upon the successful clearance of a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Analyze USMC priorities (Force Design, EABO, MAGTF network goals) and map requirements to radio solutions.
• Support field trials, modernizations, and user evaluations.
• Collaborate with Applications Engineering to leverage testing and benchmarking data.
• Coordinate with Business Development to align technical needs with strategy.
• Develop and present technical demos for expeditionary networking needs.
• Support RFI/RFP responses with technical input.
