Job summary

Motorola Solutions, through its Silvus Technologies subsidiary, seeks a Business Development Engineer for the USMC to bridge RF capabilities with Marine Corps requirements. You will work with engineering and BD teams to demonstrate interoperability of StreamCaster radios across expeditionary and tactical environments, with up to 50% travel and potential remote work depending on location.

Qualifications

• Understanding of USMC operational priorities (EABO, MAGTF) and how to map requirements to radio solutions.
• Exposure to SDRs, IP routing, or tactical communications.
• Familiarity with RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, signal generators)
• Obtain US SECRET clearance within 15 months of hire; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze USMC priorities and map requirements to tactical radio solutions.
• Plan, configure networks, and execute field trials and evaluations.
• Collaborate with Applications Engineering to benchmark and validate architectures.
• Support Business Development with technical needs and roadmapping inputs.
• Develop and present technical demos for expeditionary and tactical edge networking.
