Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a Motorola Solutions subsidiary, seeks a Business Development Engineer for the US Marine Corps to bridge RF capabilities with Marine Corps requirements and emerging trends. You will support USMC stakeholders, demonstrate interoperability, and validate field-readiness of StreamCaster radios across expeditionary, littoral, ground, airborne, and UxS environments.

Role requires up to 50% travel for field tests, customer meetings, and demonstrations, with a 100% remote option

Qualifications

• Exposure to SDRs, IP routing protocols, or tactical communication systems.
• Basic familiarity with RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, signal generators).
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and speech; capable of remote teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Analyze USMC operational priorities and map requirements to tactical radio solutions.
• Plan and execute field trials, modernizations, and user evaluations.
• Collaborate with the Applications Engineering team for testing and benchmarking data.
• Maintain alignment with Business Development to satisfy technical needs and strategic priorities.
• Build and present technical demonstrations for expeditionary and tactical edge networking.
• Support RFI/RFP responses with technical input and reviews.
• Perform market research for potential integrations with industry partners.
• Engage with MARCORSYSCOM, MCWL, PEO Land Systems, and naval warfare centers.
• Translate field feedback into product roadmap inputs and track progress.
