Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a Motorola Solutions subsidiary, seeks a Business Development Engineer for the US Marine Corps to bridge RF capabilities with defense customer needs. You will work with Applications Engineering to demonstrate interoperability of StreamCaster radios across expeditionary and tactical environments.

Role requires up to 50% travel, frequent customer engagements, and collaboration with BD and engineering teams to translate field feedback into roadmap inputs. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Electrical/Computer/Computer Engineering, or related C5ISR field with 2–5 years in systems engineering or defense tech.
• High School Diploma with 5+ years relevant tech experience can qualify.

Responsibilities

• Analyze USMC priorities and map requirements to radio solutions.
• Plan and execute field trials, modernizations, and user evaluations.
• Collaborate to verify architectures are technically sound.
• Align with BD to support technical needs and priorities.
• Build and present technical demos for expeditionary networking needs.
• Support RFI/RFP responses with technical input and reviews.
• Conduct market research for partner integrations and end-to-end architectures.
• Engage with MARCORSYSCOM, MCWL, PEO Land Systems, and naval centers.
• Capture field feedback to inform product roadmap and track progress.
• Travel up to 50% for field tests and customer engagements.
