Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a wholly owned subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, is seeking a Business Development Engineer to bridge RF capabilities with Marine Corps requirements. You will work with engineering and BD teams to demonstrate interoperability and field-readiness of our StreamCaster MANET radios across expeditionary, littoral, ground, airborne, and unmanned environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering or related C5ISR field; 2–5 years in systems engineering or defense tech.
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months of hire.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Background check and drug test clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze USMC operational priorities and map requirements to radio solutions.
• Plan and conduct field trials, modernizations, and user evaluations.
• Collaborate with Applications Engineering to benchmark and validate architectures.
• Align work with Business Development priorities and strategic goals.
• Build and present technical demonstrations for expeditionary and tactical needs.
• Contribute technical input for RFI/RFP responses.
• Conduct market research on potential integrations with industry partners.
• Engage with MARCORSYCOM, MCWL, PEO Land Systems, and naval centers.
• Translate field feedback into product roadmap inputs and track progress.
• Travel up to 50% for field tests and customer engagements.
