Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks a Business Development Engineer for the US Marine Corps to bridge RF capabilities with Marine Corps requirements and emerging trends. The role supports USMC acquisition stakeholders, demonstrates field-readiness of the StreamCaster radios, and collaborates with Engineering and Business Development teams across expeditionary environments.

The position involves travel up to 50% with remote-work options depending on location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in an engineering or C5ISR field with 2–5 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Security clearance: Active SECRET or ability to obtain within 15 months.
• US citizenship due to government contracts.

Responsibilities

• Analyze USMC priorities and map requirements to radio solutions.
• Plan and execute field trials, modernizations, and user evaluations.
• Demonstrate interoperability of StreamCaster radios and architectures.
• Collaborate with BD to meet technical needs and strategic priorities.
• Develop technical demos for expeditionary and tactical edge networking.
• Support RFI/RFP responses with technical input and reviews.
• Perform market research on integrations with industry partners.
• Engage with MARCORSYSCOM, MCWL, PEO Land Systems, and naval centers.
• Translate field feedback into product roadmap inputs.
