Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, is seeking a Business Development Engineer for the US Marine Corps to bridge RF capabilities with Marine Corps requirements. You will work with Applications Engineering and Business Development to demonstrate interoperability and field-readiness of StreamCaster radios across diverse environments.

The role requires up to 50% travel for field tests and customer engagements, with a 100% remote option depending on location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related C5ISR field; or 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months of hire.
• U.S. Citizen required for government contracts.
• Background check and drug test required.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% for field tests and customer engagements.

Responsibilities

• Analyze USMC priorities and map operational requirements to tactical radio solutions.
• Plan, configure networks, and conduct field trials, modernization, and user evaluations.
• Collaborate with Applications Engineering to leverage testing and benchmarking data.
• Support BD team to align work with strategic priorities.
• Build and present technical demos for expeditionary networking needs.
• Contribute to RFI/RFP responses.
• Conduct market research for potential integrations with industry partners.
• Engage with MARCOR SYSCOM, MCWL, PEO Land Systems, and naval warfare centers.
• Translate field feedback into product roadmap inputs.
• Travel for field tests and meetings.
