Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a Motorola Solutions subsidiary, is seeking a Business Development Engineer to bridge RF capabilities with Marine Corps requirements. You will support United States Marine Corps acquisition stakeholders and demonstrate the technical readiness of our StreamCaster MANET radios across expeditionary, littoral, ground, and airborne environments.

Travel up to 50% for field tests and customer meetings, with a 100% remote working option depending on location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer/Network/C5ISR or equivalent with 2–5 years in systems engineering or defense tech.
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months.
• U.S. Citizenship required for government contracts.
• Experience with SDRs, IP routing, or tactical comms.

Responsibilities

• Analyze USMC priorities and map requirements to tactical radio solutions.
• Plan network configurations and run field trials and evaluations.
• Collaborate with Applications Engineering to verify architectures.
• Support BD in technical needs and roadmap inputs.
• Develop technical demos for expeditionary networking needs.
• Contribute to RFI/RFP responses and test end-to-end architectures.
• Engage with MARCORSYSCOM, MCWL, PEO Land Systems, naval centers.
• Travel 50% for field tests and customer sites.
