Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a leading provider of advanced MANET and MIMO communications systems, seeks a Business Development Engineer for US Marine Corps to bridge RF capabilities with Marine Corps requirements. Travel up to 50% for field tests and demonstrations, with remote work options depending on location.

You will work with Engineering and Business Development teams to validate interoperability of StreamCaster radios across expeditionary, littoral, ground, airborne, and uncrewed environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electrical/Computer Engineering or related C5ISR field with 2–5 years experience in systems engineering, technical business development, or defense tech roles; OR HS diploma with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Exposure to SDRs, IP-based routing protocols, or tactical communication systems.
• Familiarity with RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, signal generators).
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months of hire; must be a U.S. Citizen.
• All employment contingent upon background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Analyze USMC operational priorities and map requirements to tactical radio solutions.
• Plan and execute field trials, modernizations, and user evaluations.
• Collaborate with Applications Engineering to leverage testing and benchmarking data.
• Support Business Development with technical needs and align with strategic priorities.
• Build and present technical demonstrations for expeditionary networks.
• Contribute to RFI/RFP responses and test end-to-end network architectures.
• Engage with MARCORSYCOM, MCWL, PEO Land Systems, and naval warfare centers.
