Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior Partner Solutions Engineer to drive technical engagements with customers and partners in the United States.

You will own the technical relationship, translate business needs into cross-architectural requirements, and lead strategic demos with IT leaders to advance deals. You will collaborate with account teams, shape solution strategies, and leverage Cisco’s portfolio to deliver secure, scalable outcomes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 8+ years experience in a pre-sales engineering role.
Master's degree and 6+ years experience in a pre-sales engineering role.
Experience building and maintaining positive relationships with customers and partners.
6 to 8 years of communication and presentation skills.
Experience in observability or security pre-sales and AI experience a plus.
Cisco knowledge and relevant industry certifications are preferred.
Experience in a thought leadership role will be valued.

Responsibilities

Owns technical relationship with customers and partners and leads engagements with IT and decision makers.
Designs and presents technically relevant solutions based on business and technical requirements identified by the customer/partner.
Leads the technical sales process and coordinates cross-functional teams to move deals forward.
Translates customer needs into architectural requirements and demonstrates how Cisco solutions drive business outcomes.
Leads demos and uses competitive intelligence to differentiate Cisco offerings.
