Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; one year of related education may substitute for work experience.
• Healthcare experience and customer service preferred, with familiarity in scheduling and registration systems.
• CPR certification within 90 days is required; additional certifications may vary by department.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients courteously and manage front desk check-in procedures.
• Screen for emergent conditions and verify insurance information; collect co-pays as applicable.
• Schedule appointments and referrals; process test requisitions as needed.
• Answer phone calls, provide triage as appropriate, and route messages to the right teams.
• Update patient records and ensure timely data entry into EMR; maintain accuracy of demographics.
