Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of relevant education may substitute for work experience.
• Experience in customer service, preferably in healthcare.
• Familiarity with IDX/GE Centricity systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and coordinate efficient patient flow.
• Register patients, verify insurance, and explain patient responsibilities.
• Collect co-pays and Time-of-Service payments, post charges.
• Schedule appointments including follow-ups and referrals.
• Answer phone calls and provide telephone triage as needed.
• Update patient demographics and insurance information in records.
