Job summary

William Charles Electric, a MasTec Company, is seeking Project Managers I or II to oversee renewables and power delivery construction projects. This on-site role covers Midwest, and possibly Eastern/Western states, with a 3 weeks on-site rotation and a $1,020 per week per diem.

The role requires leadership, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and safety coordination, with experience in Procore, MS Project, and P6.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• constituent field: Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management or related degree is preferred.
• 3–5 years in Medium/High Voltage substation/transmission line construction experience desired.
• Experience with project management systems (Procore, MS Project, P6) and cost control is expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead or assist PMI-level management of substations and transmission projects.
• 2-3 weeks on-site travel with a 4-day rotation pattern.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and procurement plans.
• Coordinate subcontracts, materials, and field crews; monitor invoicing and cost tracking.
• Establish site safety requirements with the safety team and ensure compliance.
• Create/maintain project docs: submittals, RFIs, minutes, plans.
• Support pre-construction planning and final project closeout.
