Job summary

William Charles Electric, a MasTec Company, is seeking Project Managers I or II to lead renewables and power delivery projects from pre-construction to completion on-site across the continental US. You should be capable of a 3-week on-site rotation with a four-day rotation, with per diem of $1,020 per week and a company vehicle provided for assigned locations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of Medium/High Voltage substation and transmission line construction experience for PM I; 5+ years for PM II.

Responsibilities

• Establish site-specific safety requirements with the safety team.
• Create a Project Execution Plan with pre-construction and operations teams.
• Monitor project finances including cost projections and invoicing; maintain project records.
• Procure materials and subcontracts; manage on-site activities and progress reporting.
• Submit monthly cost-to-complete projections.
• Pre-construction planning with project team; review estimates for strategies and risks.
• Review permits and licensing requirements; manage project documentation.
• Communicate with contracting parties and owner representatives.
• Manage project closeout including final documentation and retainage release.
• Build relationships in local markets; collaborate with project team and management.
