Job summary

William Charles Electric, a MasTec Company, seeks a Construction Project Manager to lead high-voltage substation and transmission line construction projects across the US. You will manage safety, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and project documentation from pre-construction through closeout.

The role requires up to 75% travel, the ability to drive and stay in lodging facilities, and strong leadership to coordinate cross-functional teams and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• HV substation and transmission line construction experience required.
• Ability to manage safety, schedule, and budget.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Establish site safety requirements with safety team.
• Develop Project Execution Plan with pre-construction and ops teams.
• Monitor finances, cost projections, invoicing, and project records.
• Procure materials and subcontracts, manage on-site progress.
• Prepare monthly cost-to-complete projections.
• Coordinate permits and licensing; close out project documents.
