Job summary

William Charles Construction is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee renewables and power delivery projects across multiple states, with a strong emphasis on Midwest sites. The role leads planning, execution, safety, schedule, and budget adherence to deliver high‑quality results.

You will coordinate with clients, subcontractors and company leadership, drive operational excellence, manage personnel and resources, and travel up to 75% as required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction management experience in electrical/utilities/renewables or heavy civil sectors.
• Education/experience combined will be considered.
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, estimating, budgeting and contract administration.
• Demonstrated leadership managing multiple projects/teams.
• Travel to project sites as required; valid driver's license and driving record.
• OSHA 30 Hour certification; US work authorization without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Safety planning for field operations within project scope.
• Coordinate with Local Bargaining Units and trades.
• Manage personnel, production, safety, quality goals and assignments.
• Identify resources: personnel, materials, equipment.
• Update and manage the project schedule; include cables and materials.
• Contribute to monthly cost-to-complete reviews and advise PM.
• Track weekly quantities and report progress; coordinate equipment.
• Review progress with Project Manager on a weekly basis.
