Job summary

HDR is seeking a Principal Project Manager to lead multi-disciplinary infrastructure programs with high technical complexity and large capital value. You will advise clients, plan and monitor execution, and direct services across diverse teams to deliver high-impact transportation projects.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in engineering/related field, with a relevant certification (PE, PMP, PgMP, AICP, CCM), and 10+ years of program management experience on programs $500M+.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Sciences, Planning, Business Administration or closely related field.
• Master’s degree preferred in a related discipline.
• Professional licenses/certifications such as PE/P.Eng, PMP, PgMP, AICP or CCM.
• 10+ years of program management experience, with at least 4 years as a Senior Program Manager.
• Experience delivering programs with capital value of $500M+ and leading multi-location teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary infrastructure programs with high technical complexity and large capital value.
• Advise clients on technical, regulatory, financial, and community aspects; apply lessons learned and best practices.
• Plan, direct, and monitor all aspects of program execution across diverse disciplines.
• Identify issues, mitigate risks, and provide strategic guidance to clients.
• Develop plans, startup/work plans, and processes to drive efficiency and accountability.
