Job summary

HDR, a leading engineering firm, seeks a Principal Project Manager to lead multidisciplinary transportation infrastructure programs valued at hundreds of millions. You will advise clients on technical, regulatory, financial, and community aspects while guiding multiple large teams to deliver complex projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Sciences, Planning, Business Administration or a closely related field.
• Professional certifications such as PE, PMP, PgMP, AICP or CCM are preferred.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of program management experience, with at least four (4) years as a Senior Program Manager.
• Experience delivering three or more programs with a capital value of $500 million or more.
• Ability to lead teams across multiple locations and deliver complex programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary infrastructure programs with high technical complexity.
• Advise clients on technical, regulatory, financial, and community aspects of programs.
• Plan, direct, and monitor all aspects of program execution across disciplines.
• Identify issues and risks, provide strategic solutions and timely decisions.
• Develop program management plans, startup plans, and work plans to drive efficiency.
• Direct services by large program teams or on mega-projects, ensuring QA/QC and contract alignment.
