Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Timekeeping SME to serve as the expert for Ryder’s timekeeping system(s). You will be the central contact for employees submitting time and managers approving it, coordinating with HR and Payroll to ensure accurate payroll processing and compliance.

You will audit usage, maintain training materials, and ensure access for new users and role changes while partnering with stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in HR, General Business, Computer Systems, or similar discipline.
• 1 year+ experience with time keeping systems is a plus.
• 2+ years HR experience with practices and policies.
• Understands HR's role in day-to-day business.
• Able to train and influence system users.
• Knowledge of timekeeping and Payroll interrelation.
• General knowledge of compliance rules (US CBAs) and regulations.
• Knowledge of Workday and ServiceNow.
• MS Office Suite: Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, Access.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive support to employees and managers navigating the timekeeping system(s).
• Conduct regular audits of timekeeping system(s) for policy and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain collaborative relationship with HR and Payroll stakeholders.
• Update training materials to reflect system updates and compliance.
• Ensure timely access for new users and role changes.
• Complete proxy setups to prevent service disruption during absences.
• Resolve user inquiries and escalate complex issues as needed.
• Monitor system reports for data discrepancies and integrity.
