Job summary

Ryder is seeking a Subject Matter Expert for its timekeeping systems to serve as the central contact for employees and managers. You will ensure system integrity, support payroll processes, troubleshoot issues, and drive improvements across HR and Payroll stakeholders.

You will conduct audits, train users, and coordinate on system enhancements while maintaining alignment with policies and CBAs. A strong HRIS background and proficiency with Workday/ServiceNow are beneficial.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in HR, General Business, Computer Systems, or similar discipline.
• 1 year+ experience with timekeeping systems is a plus.
• 2+ years in HR practices and policies.
• Must understand the role of HR in business and day-to-day activities.
• Must know how to train and influence system users.
• Knowledge of the timekeeping system and Payroll inter-relationship.
• General knowledge of compliance rules and regulations (federal, state, local).
• Knowledge of Workday and ServiceNow.
• Proven knowledge of MS Office Suite (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, Access).

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive support to employees and managers navigating the timekeeping system(s).
• Conduct regular audits of timekeeping for policy and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain collaborative relationships with HR and Payroll stakeholders.
• Update and distribute timekeeping training materials.
• Ensure timely access and training for new users and role transitions.
• Complete proxy set-ups to avoid disruptions during absences.
