Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Timekeeping Subject Matter Expert to serve as the central contact for employees and managers using Ryder’s timekeeping system(s). This role ensures payroll accuracy by coordinating with HR and Payroll, troubleshooting issues, and guiding users.

You will audit timekeeping usage, manage access, and maintain training materials to keep the system aligned with CBAs and regulatory requirements. Collaboration with stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of HR and how it influences business activity.
• Experience with timekeeping systems is a plus.
• Understanding of compliance rules and regulations (federal, state, local) related to timekeeping.
• Familiarity with CBAs is a plus.
• Ability to train and influence system users.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive support to employees and managers navigating timekeeping system(s).
• Conduct regular audits of timekeeping for policy and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain collaborative relationships with HR and Payroll stakeholders.
• Update training materials to reflect system updates and compliance.
• Ensure timely access provisioning for new users and transfers.
• Complete proxy set-ups to avoid disruption during absences.
• Provide user support and escalate complex issues as needed.
