Job summary

Veritiv is seeking a Sales Representative to develop and execute the sales strategy for selling Veritiv products and services within a designated geography or industry. You will drive new business, maintain customer relationships, and deliver customer-specific solutions to meet targets, requiring a competitive and motivated mindset.

Use Salesforce.com to manage accounts, collaborate with sales peers, and present tailored proposals.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of related job experience.
• Experience with packaging industry preferred.
• Travel up to 25% may be required.
• Strong verbal and written communication and diplomacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Sell and promote Veritiv products and services to meet or exceed goals in an established territory.
• Develop and implement a customer contact plan to communicate product launches and engage potential customers.
• Identify opportunities and present Veritiv solutions to meet customer needs.
• Create custom presentations and business reviews on Veritiv solutions.
• Utilize CRM to schedule follow-up actions and record customer information.
• Build a personal network and represent the company at industry events.
