Job summary

DFC is seeking driven independent sales contractors to plan and carry out sales activities for Fire and EMT products. You will build relationships with decision-makers in designated territories and pursue opportunities to grow revenue.

Firefighter or EMS background is highly recommended to leverage product knowledge. Compensation is commission-based with substantial earning potential based on performance.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of fire service equipment and tools.
• Knowledge of basic computer applications.
• Knowledge of customer service principles.
• Knowledge of basic business principles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sales action plans and strategies.
• Schedule sales activity.
• Make sales calls to new and existing customers.
• Develop and present company products and services to clients.
• Negotiate with clients.
• Develop sales proposals.
• Respond to inquiries by phone, email or in person.
• Ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships.
• Follow up on sales activity.
• Monitor and report on sales activities for management.
• Participate in sales events and training.
