Job summary

DFC is seeking sales professionals to plan and carry out all sales activities on assigned accounts or areas, focusing on Fire and EMT decision-makers. The role emphasizes a 'Help First' relationship with departments to make their jobs easier, safer and more comfortable. Prior experience as a Firefighter or EMS personnel is required.

All salespersons are 1099 independent contractors. Pay is commission-based with unlimited potential, earning approximately 40% of the gross profit on each sale.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of fire service equipment and basic business principles.
• Familiarity with basic computer applications.
• Understanding of customer service principles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sales action plans and strategies.
• Schedule sales activity.
• Make sales calls to new and existing customers.
• Develop presentations of company products and services to clients.
• Negotiate with clients.
• Develop sales proposals.
• Respond to sales inquiries by phone, email, or in person.
• Ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships.
• Follow up on sales activity.
• Monitor and report on sales activities for management.
• Participate in sales events and training.
