Job summary

DFC is seeking driven sales professionals to plan and carry out sales activities within assigned territories. Prior firefighting or EMS experience is recommended to understand customer needs in fire service equipment and services.

You will build relationships with Fire and EMT decision-makers, present products, and negotiate deals. Revenue comes from commissions with substantial upside for top performers, either full-time or strong second income.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of fire service equipment and tools.
• Knowledge of basic computer applications.
• Knowledge of customer service principles.
• Knowledge of basic business principles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sales action plans and strategies.
• Schedule sales activity.
• Make sales calls to new and existing customers.
• Develop and present company products and services to clients.
• Negotiate with clients.
• Develop sales proposals.
• Respond to sales inquiries via phone, email or in person.
• Ensure customer service satisfaction and strong client relationships.
• Follow up on sales activity.
• Monitor and report on sales activities to management.
• Participate in sales events and training.
