Job summary

Dinges Fire Company is seeking a motivated sales professional to grow accounts in the fire service market. This position is a 1099 independent contractor role, paid entirely by commissions with the potential to earn ~40% of gross profit on each sale and to build a substantial client base.

Reps may choose to work full-time as a primary income source or as a strong second income. Territory ownership and direct access to fire and EMT decision-makers help accelerate growth and earnings.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of fire service equipment.
• Knowledge of basic computer applications.
• Knowledge of customer service principles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sales action plans and strategies.
• Schedule sales activity.
• Make sales calls to new and existing customers.
• Develop and present presentations of company products and services.
• Negotiate with clients.
• Develop sales proposals.
• Respond to sales inquiries by phone, email or in person.
• Ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships.
• Follow up on sales activity.
• Monitor and report on sales activities and follow up for management.
• Participate in sales events and training.
