Job summary

Dinges Fire Company is looking for motivated sales professionals to plan and execute sales activities across assigned accounts. You will build relationships with Fire and EMT decision-makers and ensure customer satisfaction with product delivery.

Most representatives are 1099 contractors earning about 40% of gross profit on each sale; roles can be full-time or strong second income with territory ownership and significant earning potential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of fire service equipment and tools.
• Knowledge of basic computer applications.
• Knowledge of customer service principles.
• Knowledge of basic business principles.

Responsibilities

• prepare sales action plans and strategies
• schedule sales activity
• make sales calls to new and existing customers
• develop and make presentations of company products and services to current and potential clients
• negotiate with clients
• develop sales proposals
• respond to sales inquiries and concerns by phone, electronically or in person
• ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships
• follow up on sales activity
• monitor and report on sales activities and follow up for management
• participate in sales events and training
