Job summary

Dinges Fire Company is seeking independent sales contractors to plan and execute sales activities across assigned accounts. You will build relationships with Fire and EMT decision-makers in your territory, aiming to deliver value through the company’s fire safety products and services.

All sales roles are 1099 independent contractor positions with compensation based on commissions (about 40% of gross profit per sale).

Qualifications

• Knowledge of fire service equipment and tools.
• Knowledge of basic computer applications.
• Knowledge of customer service principles.
• Knowledge of basic business principles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sales action plans and strategies.
• Schedule sales activity.
• Make sales calls to new and existing customers.
• Develop and present company products and services to current and potential clients.
• Develop sales proposals.
• Respond to sales inquiries and concerns by phone, electronically or in person.
• Ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships.
• Follow up on sales activity.
• Monitor and report on sales activities and follow up for management.
• Participate in sales events and training.
