Job summary

Dinges Fire Company is seeking self-motivated sales professionals to plan and carry out sales activities for assigned accounts and territories in the United States. This role emphasizes building relationships with Fire and EMT decision-makers and delivering a responsive, helpful service approach.

All salespersons operate as 1099 independent contractors, with pay comprised entirely of commissions and an approximate 40% gross profit share per sale.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of fire service equipment and tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sales action plans and strategies.
• Schedule sales activity.
• Make sales calls to new and existing customers.
• Develop and present company products and services to current and potential clients.
• Negotiate with clients.
• Develop sales proposals.
• Respond to sales inquiries and concerns by phone, e-mail or in person.
• Ensure customer service satisfaction and maintain good client relationships.
• Follow up on sales activity and monitor results.
• Report on sales activities and follow up for management.
• Participate in sales events and training.
