Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a temporary Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions of a housing community under the Community Manager. You will help manage rent collections, on-site staff, leasing, maintenance, and administrative tasks while ensuring compliance with company policies and fair housing guidelines.

This onsite role emphasizes hands-on leadership, budgeting, reporting, and resident relations, with a strong focus on cash flow, service levels, and team

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred or 2 years housing experience.
• Ability to use onsite property management software and basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Post payments and income accurately and timely.
• Process and reconcile daily accounts receivable.
• Monitor bad debt and send late notices; file evictions.
• Assist property in meeting budgeted revenues, expenses, and NOI.
• Post charges to resident accounts and bill back utilities.
• Oversee end-of-month closing and reporting.
• Supervise staff and ensure leasing, maintenance, and admin tasks run smoothly.
