Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Temporary Assistant Community Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of a housing community under the supervision of the Community Manager. The role focuses on rent collection, budgeting, leasing, maintenance, and risk management in the absence of leadership.

Responsibilities include posting payments, reconciling receivables, managing delinquencies, and ensuring compliance with policies and fair housing guidelines while supervising onsite staff and maintaining

Qualifications

• Onsite software proficiency required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws.
• Understanding OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Post payments and income accurately and timely.
• Process and reconcile daily accounts receivable.
• Monitor and follow up on bad debt and evictions.
• Help meet budgeted revenues and NOI.
• Post charges and bill backs of utilities.
• Perform end-of-month closing and reporting.
• Maintain organized records and audit files.
• Inspect units and post move-out charges/deposits.
• Attend onsite daily; supervise staff and operations.
• Ensure policy compliance and safety guidelines.
• Lead strategic leasing management and marketing efforts.
• Address resident complaints and retention initiatives.
• Show, lease, and move-in prospective residents.
