Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations, financial functions, and staff under the Community Manager’s supervision. The role focuses on rent collection, delinquency control, leasing activity, and ensuring compliance with policies and fair housing guidelines.

You will supervise onsite staff, implement marketing strategies, handle resident concerns, and help maintain property performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in housing.
• Ability to understand and perform onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Posting and reconciling all payments from applicants, current residents, and non-current residents accurately.
• Processing daily account receivables and monitoring bad debt, including late notices and evictions.
• Helping the property meet budgeted revenues, expenses, and Net Operating Income.
• Posting charges to resident accounts and bill backs of utilities where applicable.
• Managing end-of-monthClosing procedures and reporting; maintaining organized records.
