Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Temporary Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial activities at a housing community. You will supervise staff, manage rent collection, and ensure compliance with company policies and housing regulations.

The role focuses on optimizing cash flow, coordinating leasing efforts, and maintaining high tenant satisfaction while supporting budgeted revenues and expenses.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years' housing industry experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to understand and perform onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and financial functions of the housing community.
• Manage rent collection and accounts receivable, ensuring timely posting and reconciliation.
• Monitor budget adherence and Net Operating Income; support staffing and leasing activities.
• Supervise onsite staff, train and coach to meet company policies and standards.
• Lead strategic leasing, marketing, and tenant retention initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety, fair housing, and liability guidelines.
