Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions of a housing community. You will support the Community Manager and supervise onsite staff while ensuring compliance with policies, safety, and fair housing guidelines.

You will manage rent collections, postings, budgeting, and reporting, and participate in coaching staff to drive performance while maintaining resident satisfaction and strong cash flow.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to understand and perform all onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Post payments and income from applicants, current residents, and non-current residents accurately, timely, and efficiently.
• Process and reconcile daily all accounts receivable.
